This is your chance to own a robotic vacuum. CNET' top rated robot vacuum -rated models will be on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts as high as 57%..
The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that is equipped with smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.
1. iRobot Roomba j7+
The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum to date. Its biggest advancement is an obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to detect objects such as charging cords, shoes and the pet waste that most other robots can't avoid (and often plough right through). It's the first robot to send you pictures of the objects that it encounters, so you can tell the robot to avoid it.
The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop that we have ever tested. It removes dirt and spills effortlessly and leaves no trace of it was there. It's easy to control through the iRobot Home app which allows you to schedule cleaning times and create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't sweep areas you do not want it to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it using your voice.
Its design is superior to the rest, with a sleek top piece that looks more like a toy robotic rather than a loud, loud one. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt Disposal System also self-empties, which can cut down on cleaning time.
In our tests, the j7+ was quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in one location instead of scattering it around the floor. It was able to collect small pieces of gravel, sand, and even a tiny bit of grit. The majority of robots cannot achieve this feat. And it did all of this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shed.
Although it's not as smart as the Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum and can't clean stairs, the J7+ is a solid option for those who require both mopping and a vacuum in their home. It's not expensive, and the iRobot application makes it user-friendly.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates and it can be difficult to determine if they are working until you actually see them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that can do more than simply clean your floors A hybrid is the best option. This kind of robot usually includes a built-in water tank that allows them to mop and vacuum your home at the same time. They also have a range of additional features, such as smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance and even the ability to wash and dry mopping pads. They're costly at retail, but usually are reduced on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
Roborock has some of our top robot vacuums and the Q5+ isn't an exception. This is the least expensive model in their auto-empty line. Although it might not include some of the premium features (like no-go areas and multi-story memories) but it's an excellent choice for those who are willing to make some compromises to save a few dollars.
The Q5+ is remarkably gentle when it comes to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it a great choice for homes that have lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in getting rid of dust bunnies which is a place where many cheaper robot vacuums fall short. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is excellent too, with very little misses in corners and along walls.
The Q5+, like other Roborock products can be controlled with only a few buttons on your device, or via the Roborock App. The app allows you to start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, design virtual barriers and no-go areas, modify your home map or re-label rooms.
If you choose to purchase the Q5+, it comes with a brand new auto-empty dock specifically designed to make this robot simple to maintain. It requires a screwdriver install, but once in place the process of emptying the bin is relatively easy. It features a large LCD screen, which is useful for setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This isn't a necessary feature for the majority of people but it can assist you in keeping track of your robot's maintenance intervals effortlessly.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a clever, well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of both vacuuming and mopping. Its design is among the best in the industry however it's quite expensive.
The base station is attractive and hides it when not in use, and its size is quite compact. The primary selling point of the station is the fact that it automates a variety of tasks, functions and chores that other robots would leave to you. It can store dirty and clean water and also electrolyze and warm the water. Most other robovacs will require you to do this.
Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive, too. It's the few robot vacuums I've tried that does very well at cleaning up debris from bare floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.
The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially when it comes navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren’t as reliable as other robotvacs. This means that it can get stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms of the house. It's also unable to climb stairs like other models and doesn't come with a dock to create a cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.

Although it doesn't have as many in terms of cleaning configuration options in its app or as many in-app shortcuts as some other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone looking for a comprehensive robot vacuum and mop that's worth the higher price tag.
If you're looking to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of other options on the market. Many of the eufy models cost significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and offers an identical experience on the app with additional features such as stairs, a fully-function dock, and better overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.
4. Eufy RoboVac G30
Eufy, a Anker company has a proven track record of making robot vacuums that strike a good balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on hard and carpeted floors, as well as a mopping function for a low cost. It's easy to set it up, just attach one of the side brushes and turn it on, then connect the charging dock. The app walks you through a few steps to connect it to your Wi-Fi, and the G30 is ready to go. The dock must be placed near an outlet with enough space to move.
The G30 is a compact device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, meaning it can fit under most couches and low-clearance pieces of furniture. Its design isn't as ostentatious in comparison to other models. It has a sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral pattern over two minutes), Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also link the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to conduct cleaning without a schedule using voice commands.
The main aspect that distinguishes the G30 apart from most competitors is the method it cleans. It makes use of an integrated map to create an image of the unmovable items in its path. It keeps track of the things it has cleaned and where it cannot access. When it's time to recharge, it will automatically return to its starting point and begins cleaning from where it began.
The sleek G30 has a few flaws. The iRobot Roomba is better built and has lower recurring costs. It is faster to charge, has similar battery life and is more effective on bare floors or low-pile carpet. It also comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't need to be empty as often and comes with a set of boundary strips to keep it away from certain areas. The G30, however is more affordable and is much more manageable to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't have to be empty as often and it's less difficulty with bulky items like cereal.
